Alert!
Herbert the giant slug is now on the loose in the school! Last night I caught 12 slugs to show the kids in class. This morning, all but two escaped! I brought the two to school this morning and by the afternoon, the largest one, Herbert, escaped. He is somewhere in the school. If you see a silver slime trail, please let me know. Herbert needs to go back to my compost pile!

Robin said she would keep on the look out for Herbert. I forgot to mention, he has a striking orange 'skirt' around his bottom!
